FENWAY

Fenway - 7 year old, red neutered male, up to date on shots, heartworm
medication & is in good health.  Fenway is looking for an adult household
without children.  He is calm & docile around adults, tends to warm up to
women quicker then men.  Active & loud children, especially boys tend to put him on edge.

Fenway is verrrry mellow, gentle, but stubborn dog.  He enjoys the
companionship of his owners.  He has great house manners, does not get up
on furniture, not destructive & is housebroken.  Fenway will alert you if
anyone or thing comes onto the property but greets visitors in a friendly
manner.  Fenway loves to swim & go for walks.  He is good with other dogs
& cats.  He requires a home with a five foot fence, because he has been
known to jump the 4foot variety, (to his credit, when he has he just goes
to the front door waiting to be let inside).

If you have a child free home and would like to provide this fine
companion animal with a place to spend his golden years,,,please contact us

Fenway is waiting for you.

PS:  He is not fond of his toe nails clipped.

Adoption fee is reduced due to dogs age.

Special Needs Bloodhound

WHISKEY

Whiskey is a 2 year old, spayed, female, B&T, small in stature, up to date on shots & HW – neg. She is a verrrry active little Bloodhound who uses her nose to the fullest extent. She is puppy like in demeanor and loves human companionship. She is sweet and playful. Whiskey plays well with other dogs. A household with another dog is recommended – this will help to ensure that she has an outlet for her energy.

Whiskey is crate trained and per reports from her foster home, fairly well housetrained. She is fearful of thunderstorms and fireworks, it has been during these times of stress that she has accidentally urinated in the home.

Whiskey sustained a broken ankle when hit by a car sometime ago. Unfortunately the break was never set and therefore never healed correctly. She exhibits occasional lameness however it does not impede her activity level. The orthopedic vet has not restricted her activity. Currently Whiskey takes a glucosamine compound that costs apprx. $20 for a months supply. It is anticipated that the leg will become more arthritic as she ages. She may require pain medication in later years.

If you can meet Whiskey’s needs and are interested in adopting her, please contact us at NEBR. Whiskey will pay you back with love and affection ten fold.
